Muse is back this Fall with The 2nd Law, their follow-up to 2009's The Resistance. The new offering finds the UK band exploring different musical waters, ditching much of the apocalyptic overtones that were rife in their last few records. Behind lead single "Madness," frontman Matthew Bellamy and Co. chart a course toward more melodic, emotive songwriting.
