U2 has released the official video for “Street of Dreams,” the lead single from the band’s upcoming 15th studio album. The clip was filmed in Mexico City and places the Irish rock group back in a public, street-level setting, a visual approach that has long been part of its identity.
The video shows Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen Jr. performing on a graffiti-covered school bus as fans gather around them. During filming, a storm interrupted production and caused a generator problem. The band then continued part of the shoot from a nearby family’s apartment balcony after being welcomed inside.
The release also marks a notable moment for Mullen, who appears with the band following recent health-related time away from performing. “Street of Dreams” follows U2’s two 2026 EPs, “Days of Ash” and “Easter Lily,” and points toward the group’s first full album of new studio material since 2017.
For U2, the Mexico City shoot connects a new song with a familiar sense of live energy, public performance, and direct contact with fans.
